Point Forecasts
by Dalon Stone
-
National Weather Service
-
By far the easiest site to use to get point forecast data, and it is also easy
to find all of the verification data from previous days.
-
The Weather Channel
-
For quick reference, this was probably the fastest of the non-NWS sites.
-
Intellicast
-
This website is the best one that I have found for the international point
forecasts, providing a 10 day forecast for most major cities and many smaller
ones around the world.
-
MSN
-
This site contains a few ads, but doesn't take long to load. It also includes a monthly climatology of the region and a detailed ten day forecast.
-
Accuweather
-
This site by far had the most information when compared to the other non-NWS
sites, but it was also the most difficult to use.
-
Weather Underground
-
This site has decent maps, along with detailed forecast discussions. However, the information is not organized in a user-friendly manner.
